P-P-P PORTUGAL

We went to Porto, Portugal for Halloween! Since our flight situation was changed, we ended up having a free room in Porto, Portugal.  We stayed at the Almada Guesthouse and it was cozy.  We walked so much that we were exhausted and back in the hotel before 9pm!
Selling books since 1906, the Lello Bookstore is considered among the world's most beautiful bookstores. This ancient bookstore may look familiar!  Some say it was used a the Flourish and Blotts bookstore in Harry Potter.  However, this is not true...

There is a picture of me on a bridge staring off into the distance at a different bridge.
This is Lyss trying not to stand too close to the edge.

Bridge over the Duoro River
We passed a builiding with five black cats on Halloween night!  Lyss was scared.

There were many beans and garlic being sold at the market.

After five grueling minutes I made it into this
tree, so hopefully this picture was worth it!
This is inside the famous Sao Bento train station.
All the walls are covered in tiles that make up
detailed scenes.

Lyss loved this blue and white tiled church.

Apparently there are even Packer fans in Portugal!

Wouldn't you know...a Pizza Hut lunch buffet in Portugal!

Around the House

Had to interject to share this picture of Robin.  Aren't you impressed with his developing artistic skills?  He drew those all by himself for the students he tutors :)

We had some trouble with our oven early on but our landlord was nice enough to fix it.  He's one of the most interesting people we've met so far in Spain.  We don't have a picture but there is an approximation above.
